Designed, constructed, owned and operated by Wheelabrator, Wheelabrator Millbury processes up to 1,500 tons per day of municipal solid. Wheelabrator Millbury has an electric generating capacity of 46,000 kilowatts; the equivalent of supplying the electrical needs of 57,000 Massachusetts homes.
