Designed, constructed, and operated by Wheelabrator, Wheelabrator Spokane processes up to 800 tons per day of municipal solid. The facility has an electric generating capacity of 26,000 kilowatts; the equivalent of supplying the electrical needs of 23,000 Washington homes.
