SOS Children's Village

A 1999 Nobel Prize nominee, SOS Children's Village provides breakthrough care for foster children providing them with permanent families and homes. SOS Children's Village of Florida is the first of its kind in the United States, joining 380 other SOS Children's Villages caring for 300,000 children in more than 130 countries.

Wheelabrator built a nature walk for the children on the premises of the SOS Children's Village in Coconut Creek, Florida. The trail introduces these children, many of them for the first time, to the many wonders of Florida's diverse natural environment. The Nature Trail allows SOS parents, children, and tutors an opportunity to study and appreciate nature and wildlife through immersion.
